ADMISSION
According to resolution CEPEC/UFG No. 1847, admission to the PPGCA will be granted after approval and classification in the selection process. A minimum qualification of a graduate degree is required for the Master's program and a master's degree for the Doctorate, in courses recognized by MEC, except in exceptional cases provided for in the Regulation. Exceptionally, students currently enrolled in their undergraduate studies, with extraordinary competence, may be admitted to the Master's program following criteria established in the Specific Regulation of the Program and with approval from the CSPPG. Exceptionally, graduates without a master's degree may apply for direct admission to the Doctorate, provided there is approval from the Program Coordination, following criteria established in the Specific Regulation. For foreign students who are not permanent residents in Brazil and wish to study in the country, there is no need for revalidation or recognition of their degree obtained abroad for purposes of enrollment in the selection process and access to postgraduate courses. The selection process will adhere to the provisions contained in the Program Regulation with criteria defined in a specific notice drafted by the Selection Committee and approved by the Administrative Committee.
The student in the Master's Program may move to the Doctorate (continuous flow) as long as the Coordination approves their request based on an analysis of the thesis pre-project and academic performance.
